DE HAAGSCHE STORM

A Haagsche twist on the Dark ‘n’ Stormy: served by Queen’s Rum and the Caipi Boys who blend their own masterpieces: the dark spiced Queen’s Rum with the fresh ginger kick of Caipi Ginger liqueur. Elegantly finished with angostura bitters and lime.

30 ml Queen’s Rum, 30 ml Caipi Ginger, 120 ml Soda water, 15 ml Agave sirup, 15 ml Lime juice (1/2 lime), Angostura Bitters.      

Method: Build. Glass: Longdrink. Garnish: Lime, Angostura Bitters.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Fill a longdrink glass with ice cubes & add the rum.
  2. Squeeze the half lime in the glass (15ml) and keep it separate.
  3. Top up with Caipi Ginger, Agave sirup, Soda water.
  4. Stir everything together, add 2 dashes Angostura Bitters and garnish with the left over lime.
